A 70-year-old woman developed hyponatraemia and confusion due to interaction between bupropion, dosulepin [dothiepin] and escitalopram [not all dosages and routes stated].
The woman, who had a 10 year history of recurrent depressive illness, had been receiving escitalopram 30mg daily, quetiapine and lamotrogine. Upon admission oral bupropion at 75mg was added with an unsuccessful trial of dosulepin. Subsequently, the dosulepin dose was increased to 225mg but later decreased to...
