Abstract

Because of loss of bone flexibility, skull deformation caused by impact may rarely extend to the opposite side in the elderly and middle-aged. [...]in young adults including our case, the skull sutures have completely closed yet skull bones are still flexible. [...]skull deformation caused by head injury can extend to the opposite side bilaterally and meet there to cause a contrecoup fracture.
