Abstract
The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Task Force for Global Health, Inc., hosted the 2018 International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases (ICEID) August 27-29 in Atlanta. Held every 2-3 years, the ICEID brings together more than 1,500 public health professionals from around the world to encourage the exchange of the latest information on issues affecting the emergence, spread, and control of infectious diseases. ICEID 2018 marked the 10th occurrence of this premier infectious disease conference.
