Dallas County Community College District invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Cedar Valley College.
The President is responsible for leading initiatives which contribute to the vibrancy, growth, and economic stability of Dallas County for future generations, with primary emphases in areas of student access and success, identification and implementation of academic and technical programming to support continuing education and workforce development, and community outreach to extend partnerships, expand resources and share capacity in support of current and future students.
About Cedar Valley College
Cedar Valley College sits on a large, 353-acre campus in the city of Lancaster. Opening in 1977, it serves a diverse population in Southern Dallas County, incorporating students from five independent school districts, including Lancaster, Dallas, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, and DeSoto. The college is home to the Sustainable Communities Institute and launched SCI as a virtual institute in Fall 2014.
