It takes a village to raise a child and the well-being of children tells us much about our values as a nation. Child Trends is non-profit, non-partisan group that provides excellent up-to-date information on anything touching children's lives, mostly taken from federal documents, but also non-governmental agency data. Childhood obesity, bullying, poverty, contraceptive use, food security, education is in here. It is free, easily navigable, and often cited in newspapers and social work journal articles.
Child Trends uses topical tabs at the top of the main page to direct users to resources on child poverty, child welfare, early childhood development, education, fatherhood and parenting, health, evaluation, indicators of child well-being, marriage and family, positive development, teen sex and...
