Bed rails may not always be the best option for patients. A simple tool can help you decide
The use of bed rails to prevent patients falling from their beds and sustaining injuries came under the spotlight recently as a direct result of an adverse event. The patient was not injured, but the event did highlight the risks bed rails can pose.
