ABSTRACT
A squash is a fleshy vegetable protected by a rind. All squashes belong to one of four species of the Cucurbits family of vegetables. In the United States, squash is typically categorized as summer or winter squashes. Basically there are two types of squash harvest: squash and Winter squash varieties, on the Both summer and winter varieties are full of nutrients, containing trace amounts of B vitamins and providing healthy doses of iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium[1]. The purpose of the research was to determine the changes taking place in squash fruit during the maturation and ripening so as to pinpoint the best time to give the best quality at the market place. The original objectives were to determine which pre-harvest variables contribute to good tasting squash after different periods of storage time. This is determined by whether a measure of acceptability found by categorizing each squash as unacceptable, acceptable or excellent. Keeping in the view, the classification method called classification via clustering of data mining can be used for analyzing the various factors that affect whether to accept, unaccepted or reject a squash harvest. In our work, we proposed the squared Euclidean distance measure to classify the squash harvest database and result are compared with Euclidean distance with the help of WEKA tool. The result shows that the squash harvest is classified accurately when implemented with squared Euclidean distance formula. Hence a, market exporter can easily choose the best harvest to import in the market at right time.

I. Introduction
In, any country harvest plays an important role in development of that country. In the harvest squash harvest also play an important role. Basically A squash is a fleshy vegetable protected by a rind. All squashes belong to one of four species of the Cucurbit family of vegetables.
