Abstract

About 30-50% of patients with essential tremor are commonly misdiagnosed with Parkinson's disease or other tremor disorders.' Patients with tremor due to other disorders, such as hyperthyroidism, Parkinson's disease, dystonia, or Wilson's disease, might have additional symptoms that help lead the clinician to these diagnoses.
