The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Politics will already be known to many librarians, and now appears in its third edition. The second, in 2003, declared that it had added 200 entries to the first of 1996; this one is stated to have about 1,700 entries (by 70 contributors) as did the second, of 2003, with about the same number of pages, so we must conclude that not many have been added this time, although it is said that coverage of non-Western countries has been improved.
