GENERAL APPRAISAL
The Toshiba 2060, a Segment 1 console copier, provided a strong overall performance during its 75,000-impression BLI test. In particular, the 2060 offers very fast first-copy times and a wide range of options for a 20-cpm unit.
During its evaluation period, the test unit required only one service call; 18 total misfeeds were recorded by lab technicians, for a misfeed rate of one per 4,167 impressions. Moreover, the 2060 earned BLI's highest rating in every copy quality category evaluated. The 2060 also offers an easy-to-use control panel with a two-line LCD display-and an integrated help key, along with easy methods for adding both toner and paper. Furthermore, versus other previously tested models in the I5-to25-cpm speed range, the 2060 offers competitive efficiency rates in the 1:1 copying mode (note that, although Toshiba offers an...
