CPJ and CPhA: Taking evidence for pharmacist care to the next level
RPC et APhC: Passer au niveau suprieur avec les donnes sur les soins dispenss par les pharmaciens
Back in the September/October 2015 issue, we announced our sharpened focus on whats important for pharmacy practiceto highlight evidence for pharmacist care, provide implementation tools and guidelines and deepen our understanding of practice change.1
In May 2015, the new board of the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) developed a number of strategic priorities, several of which are directly addressed by CPJ. We are also delivering print copies to provincial and federal-level health policy makers and other health professional organizations.
Together, we will publicize and advocate for the important evidence from pharmacy practice research.
For researchers, if you have work that provides evidence for pharmacist care, you can be assured that you have CPJ and CPhA behind you to change practice (how good is that?). We will make sure your evidence makes a dierence, and we will do that better than anyone else can.
For health policy makers, you need look no further than CPJ for evidence you can use to improve patient care by engaging pharmacists.
