Introduction
Composition refers to the creative practice process of giving the theoretical basis of composition technology, and it is also the process of comprehensive application of composition technology. Composition teaching refers to the process of teaching students some theoretical composition technologies involved in the composition process. Under the reform of teaching, college composition teaching has gradually attached importance to the cultivation of students' music creation and creative ability, requiring teachers to convey innovative spirit to students in teaching, stimulate their innovative motivation, and better apply theoretical knowledge and skills of composition in practice, so that students can better develop their music creation work and create innovative music works.
1.The significance of cultivating students' music creation and creative ability in composition teaching
First, cultivating students' music creation and creative ability is helpful to improve students' music learning effect. When students create music, they will inevitably apply the music theory knowledge they have learned and mastered. In this process, it will also help to consolidate the music knowledge. When creating music, we need to know about orchestration, acoustics, melody writing and so on. If we want to complete the creation, we must combine these knowledge effectively, and it is also the embodiment of applying the theoretical knowledge of music to practice. Similarly, if students don't have a solid knowledge of music theory, their music creation can't be completed effectively, and their creative ability can't be improved. Therefore, the basic theoretical knowledge of music is of great significance to students' study and creation (Liu Jingyuan, 2020). Music creation also helps to consolidate students' knowledge of music, thus improving the effect of music learning.
Secondly, cultivating students' music creation and creative ability lays the foundation for students to engage in music creation better. In the current society, people's demands for music are gradually diversified, and the requirements for music quality are getting higher and higher. Paying attention to the cultivation of music creation and creative ability will help students to create higher quality and novel music works, so that students can create music works better (Xie Yi, 2020). Music creation is difficult, and it also requires students' ability. The cultivation of students' creative ability is a long-term work. Teachers pay attention to the cultivation of students' creative ability in teaching, which helps students to constantly improve their creative ability, so as to better adapt to music creation and lay a solid foundation for creative work.
Thirdly, cultivating students' music creation and creative ability is helpful to improve the quality of students' creative works. Music often contains the rich emotions of the creators, and it is also an expression of the creators' inner feelings, with individual differences. Therefore, music works incorporating emotions will show certain innovation. While cultivating creativity and creative ability, students will constantly release their inner feelings in the creative process, and integrate their emotions and feelings into their works. Only by integrating their emotions into music can the music works created have vitality (Qu Di & Qu Guangli, 2017). In the process of releasing their emotions, students' perception of music is constantly improved, and more creative experience is accumulated, so as to create better works.
2.Effective Strategies for Cultivating Students' Music Creation and Creative Ability
2.1 Innovative music creation and creative concept
Due to the high difficulty of music creation, in the current teaching of composition, students often have the idea that it is difficult to compose music, and they are afraid of composing music, which also affects students' music creation. Besides, music composition is quite different from other creations and learning, which requires students to have rich imagination and broad thinking space in the creative process. Only in this way can they get more new ideas and new ideas. Only when their thoughts are unrestricted can they create. Based on this, in the cultivation of students' music creation and creative ability, it is necessary to change the traditional concept of music creation, encourage students to make bold attempts to innovate, guide students to constantly establish a positive concept of music creation, and give appropriate guidance when students make bold attempts (Yao Henglu, 2007). On the other hand, it is not necessary to set up a complete set of music creation practice links in teaching to cultivate the creative ability of music creation, but teachers should arrange the practice activities according to the actual teaching situation and students' learning situation. For example, in the early stage of composition teaching, teachers can teach music appreciation and comment, encourage students to express their own views and opinions on music, gradually improve students' understanding and appreciation ability of music, lay a foundation for music creation, and then gradually guide students to form awareness of music creation, in this process, cultivate and enhance students' ability of music creation and creation.
2.2 And strengthen students' creative motivation
Motivation refers to the individual's internal driving force to maintain an activity under the guidance of a certain goal or object, while creative motivation can promote students' music creation and enhance their creative enthusiasm, and it is also the motivation for students to maintain creative activities. Therefore, in the process of cultivating students' music creation, making students clear their own creative motivation and constantly strengthening their creative motivation can enable students to continuously create under their creative motivation, and then create their own satisfactory works. In the process of composition teaching, teachers should emphasize students' creative motivation, guide students to find creative motivation, and strengthen it, so as to motivate students to complete excellent works in long-term creation. Teachers can take a famous music as appreciation content, let students appreciate it, and tell the creative background of the works. In this process, the concept of creative motivation is introduced, so that students can be clear about the creative motivation, realize the importance of creative motivation, and explore their own creative motivation in their later studies.
2.3 Constantly improve students' ability of independent creation
Finally, teachers need to cultivate students' creative ability, which is a necessary and extremely important element in music creation. In composition teaching, teachers evaluate students' ability, judge students' music level, and set up targeted and reasonable teaching methods according to their learning ability and specific learning situation. In this process, we should pay attention to students' personality characteristics, and guide students to give full play to their individuality in their creation through appropriate teaching methods, so as to reflect their individuality and uniqueness in their works and make them more innovative (Li Yanmei, 2018). At the same time, we should pay attention to the cultivation of students' knowledge transfer ability, so that students can make associations from different angles, expand their thinking ability and create more unique works. Music works contain rich emotions of creators. To cultivate students' creative ability, teachers should guide students to express their inner feelings and enrich and enrich music works with emotions. For example, in class, teachers can choose to organize students to discuss a typical musical work, express their own understanding and ideas, and constantly guide students to expand their thinking and incorporate more new ideas, so as to cultivate students' thinking and ability to draw inferences from others, and help students improve their musical creation ability. By expanding the teaching of thinking ability, students can think about problems from different angles and create more unique music works, which will make the works innovative and novel, avoid the same feeling with other works, and improve the quality and level of the works.
2.4 Evaluate students scientifically and reasonably
A complete music teaching system and process can't be separated from teaching evaluation, that is, teachers need to evaluate students effectively in the teaching of music creation and creative cultivation, and guide and motivate students correctly with the help of teaching evaluation, so that they can better participate in the follow-up music creation work. Effective teaching evaluation can feedback students' own composing ability and specific composing situation, and guide students to adjust and improve their creations by feedback, which has a positive guiding effect on students. This also requires teachers to pay attention to providing students with opportunities to show their music works in composition teaching, encourage students to show their own music, and accept comments from classmates and teachers. At the same time, they can also make self-evaluation and receive opinions from many parties, so as to continuously improve and enhance their composition ability. Students are organized to communicate with each other, while teachers make comprehensive evaluation and summary, constantly promoting the perfection of students' works and enhancing their musical creation ability (Tang Leqi, 2019). In addition, teachers also need to evaluate their own teaching, summarize and reflect on the teaching work after the teaching is completed, and find the teaching deficiencies so as to continuously improve their teaching ability (Liu Jingyuan, 2020).
3.Conclusion
To sum up, the cultivation of students' music creation and creative ability is the key content of current composition teaching. Different from other disciplines, composition teaching has strong flexibility, which requires teachers to attach importance to the cultivation of students' creative ability. Based on this, teachers can guide students to create excellent music works by innovating music creation and creative concepts, clarifying and strengthening students' creative motivation and improving students' independent creative ability. In classroom teaching, teachers can not only attract students' attention, but also improve students' thinking ability and sentiment, so as to cultivate students' creative ability.
