Abstract

A 28-year-old woman presented with an erythematous rash on the nose and nasal area that appeared after she had manipulated a painful vesicular lesion. Cloxacillin therapy had a slight benefit followed by a worsening induration that prompted treatment with IV antibiotics, which had no effect.
