Dancecult is an exciting new e-journal promoting interdisciplinary research on electronic dance music culture (EDMC). Broad in scope, "the journal houses research exploring the sites, technologies, sounds and cultures of electronic music in historical and contemporary perspectives" (from the website). Published twice a year, Dancecult is a collection of feature articles, editorials, reviews, and material categorized as "Conversations," "From the Floor," and "Transpositions" (articles originally published in non-English languages translated into English). The feature articles and editorials are peer-reviewed, whereas "Conversations" and "From the Floor" pieces are solicited by the editorial board to address issues felt to be particularly pertinent.
