A 47-year-old man developed various toxicities following concomitant administration of venlafaxine, olanzapine, zopiclone and diazepam overdose [routes not stated].
The man with schizophrenia was found unconscious surrounded by empty tablet containers. Based on the number of empty containers, he was estimated to have taken an overdose of venlafaxine 11.7g, olanzapine 1.1 6g, zopiclone 735mg and diazepam 420mg, along with 1.5 bottles of champagne.
