A 55-year-old man paradoxical bradycardia and hypertension while receiving dobutamine for stress echocardiography.
The man presented to the emergency department after experiencing two syncopal episodes while walking. He had undergone percutaneous intervention of the right coronary artery five years prior for his coronary artery disease. After presentation, he was admitted to the cardiology department.
