A 74-year-old woman developed an exacerbation of restless legs syndrome (RLS) following preoperative administration of hydroxyzine and droperidol.
The woman had a 12-year history of RLS and had been responding well to pramipexole for the past 3 years. She was scheduled for a nodulectomy with breast conservation and axillary dissection after an abnormal nodule was found in her left breast.
