At the outset, my heartiest welcome to Dr. Kamlesh Singh, IIT, Delhi, who has kindly agreed to serve as the Hony. Associate Editor of JIAAP. We expect that the quality of the Journal will enhance under her able engagement.
This issue of the Journal contains 17 papers. As in other issues, we have tried to accommodate articles in diverse domains with applied interest. We have two review papers. Richa Singh and colleagues have reviewed the status of research in covert orienting of attention, a significant issue in cognitive processing with important implication in performance in a wide variety of settings. Chris Piotrowski from United States has reviewed the current status of drawing technique as a projective measure from the extant literature. While this technique is used less frequently in neuropsychological and forensic assessment, review reveals that it is favoured by professionals in school psychology and clinical psychology.
