Resumen
El Rombo Escalonado. Un símbolo de poder inka
Se presenta en este trabajo, una amplia recopilación de un motivo, al que he denominado el rombo escalonado, realizada en todo el territorio andino. El interés principal es entender el significado profundo de este motivo, para lo cual se han revisado algunos interesantes antecedentes. A juzgar por su recurrencia en sitios inka de poder, estimo que su distribución podría aclarar un importante aspecto del pensamiento político religioso en el Tawantinsuyu. Considero que se trata de un motivo muy complejo y de gran significancia en el mundo andino relacionado fuertemente con el concepto de símbolo de poder.
Abstract
The Stepped Rhombus. A symbol of inka power
One appears in this work, an ample compilation of a reason, to that I have denominated the stepped rhombus, made in all the Andean territory. The main interest is to understand the deep meaning of this symbol, for which some interesting antecedents have been reviewed. Judging by its recurrence in sites of inka power, I consider that its distribution could clarify an important aspect of the religious political thought in the Tawantinsuyu. I consider that one is a very complex reason and of great significance in the Andean world related strongly to the concept of symbol of power.

Le Losange Échelonné. Un symbole de pouvoir Inka
Dans cet article est présentée une ample compilation faite dans tout le territoire andin, d'un motif que j'ai nommé le Losange échelonné. L'intérêt principal est de comprendre la signification profonde de ce symbole, raison pour laquelle on a révisé quelques antécédents intéressants. En me basant sur la constante répétition du motif sur des sites Inka de pouvoir, je considère que sa distribution pourrait nous éclairer sur un aspect important de la pensée politique et religieuse du Tawantinsuyu. Je pense qu'il s'agit d'un motif très complexe et de grande signification dans le monde andin, lié fortement au concept de symbole de pouvoir.
