If this reference work were a car, it would aspire to be a DeLorean focusing primarily on sporty styling at the expense of other factors that consumers might find essential. The Encyclopedia of Cars is a very attractively laid out set that features hundreds of color and black-and- white photographs, drawings, and diagrams. However, checking under the hood, it may not be the reference source of your library's dreams.
