Abstract

The article seeks to analyze the Italian foreign policy between the First and the Second World Wars. It does so by examining the debate of the Italian historiography regarding the fascist period, in particular about the foreign policy implemented by Mussolini in the first twenty years of his government. By way of conclusion, the author relates the former with the traditional guidelines of the Italian foreign policy since the unification of Italy in 1860. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
