Absract:
Gambling is not a phenomenon of the modern world, they existed since ancient times, being supported by the decision makers and cultures in one form or another, being one of the oldest aspects of human behavior that has accompanied us by centuries of evolution and civilization. The desire to win by taking risks has been an instinctual force of the human gene, which together with the primary instincts of thirst, hunger, etc. has led to the extension of survival mechanisms. Gambling should be viewed as a reason to disconnect, spend the free time or having fun. The prohibition of gambling would lead inexorably to the emergence of psychopathologies much more serious than the current dependence on pathological gambling.

Brief history of gambling emergence and evolution in the society
Gambling is not a phenomenon of the modern world, it has existed since ancient times, being supported by decision makers and cultures in one form or another, being one of the oldest aspects of human behavior that has given us accompanied by centuries of evolution and civilization. The desire to win by taking risks has been an instinctual force of the human gene, which together with the primary instincts of thirst, hunger, etc. led to the extension of survival mechanisms.
As all the phenomena that have occurred since ancient times, we may say that the exact origin of the games is not known1. The existence of gambling, associated with their practice, has been identified in ancient China, in the year 2300 BC, with approximation. A pair of ivory dice dating back to 1500 BC was found in Egypt. In fact, the notes that mentioned the gambling were discovered on a tablet, in one of the pyramids of Giza. The inhabitants of ancient India, Greece and Rome practiced some form of gambling, the history being full of stories about the entertainment with the gambling practiced by these great civilizations.
The first gamble known in history is a dice game, played with "astragalus'2, the greatgrandfather of today's dice. Astragalus was a cubic bone, taken from the ankle of deer or sheep, solid and without marrow, considered indestructible. It has appeared in archaeological areas in different parts of the world....
