A 74-year-man developed ecchymosis on penis and scrotum and penile shaft haematoma during concomitant treatment with ginkgo-biloba and tadalafil [routes not stated].
The man, who had various co-morbidities including benign prostatic hyperplasia along with previous open bilateral inguinal hernia repair, presented with pain in his right hip and groin. He was diagnosed with recurrent right inguinal hernia. He underwent an open repair under unspecified local anaesthetic.
