Urinary tract infection (UTI) caused by P. aeruginosa can cause green discoloration of urine due to the presence of the pigment pyocyanin [5]. While physician should not be alarmed by the appearance of green urine, this finding should prompt consideration of severe infection due to P. aeruginosa in the appropriate clinical context.Funding This research did not receive any specific grant from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors.Declaration of Competing Interest None.Acknowledgements None.
