The Hometown Locator and Gazetteer (HLG) is a comprehensive and easy to use US gazetteer with data for 1.8 million physical and cultural features, census information for 98,000 local areas, and distance calculations (not driving distances) for 177,000 populated places. Links to numerous aerial photographs and regional, local and topographical maps are a mainstay of this product. Very little of HLG is unique; rather, this site makes it easy for an individual to locate census information on a place and then link to a map of that place.
