RON WEBER, Information Systems Control and Audit (Upper Saddle River, NJ: Prentice Hall,1999, pp. vii,1013).
This is Professor Weber's third version of a book dealing with Information Technology (IT) Auditing. A different publisher (1982 and 1988) offered two prior editions of this book. His current book is a timely addition to the literature, given the very limited set of offerings on this topic. The need to educate and train students in this subject matter fuels the need for books like this one.
Weber's book contains six parts in 24 chapters, spanning some 1,000 pages. This book is a tour de force of the subject matter,...
