The Integrated Encyclopedia of the Qur'an (IEQ) Volume 1, edited by Muzaffar Iqbal with assistance from associate editors, assistant editors and a language editor, and published in 2013 by the Center for Islamic Sciences in Sherwood Park, Alberta, comprises 378 pages offering 47 entries ranging from A - Allah to B - Beautiful Names of Allah. The volume constitutes the first in a planned seven-volume set. The IEQ presents "traditional Muslim sources" from: "exegeses, Hadith collections and commentaries, classical lexicons, bibliographical dictionaries, universal histories, works of jurisprudence, Prophetic biographies, and treatises on spiritual and moral psychology" (Preface).
