Abstract

The influence onto laser absorption enhancement of energetic materials from doping in metallic nanoparticles was investigated. The FEM analyzation using complex refractive index of Al and Au shows that the doping metal types, the structure of nanoparticles, and the wavelength of electromagnetic waves, takes an influence on the absorption efficiency. The laser ignition experiment was carried, the influence on the ignition properties of pyrotechnics of the energetic material types, the amount of doping particles, and ignition laser parameters were analysed.
