Engineer officers of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra are about to launch a second generation iPAD named PACPAD. It would connect to Internet via cell phone networks. Kamra can produce up to 1 ,000 of these devices daily.
Kamra engineers use their spare time for this activity. Kamra is a high security air force complex making J-17 Thunder fighter jets jointly with China. Its officers find time to work on the latest addition to a sprawling commercial empire: a Pak version of iPad. They have named it PACPAD.
