Abstract
Monetary crisis accured in Indonesia has showed a serious weakness of monetary policy by Sentral Bank. As written in this paper, there are many weakness and mistakes of Sentral Bank as monetary policy maker in Indonesia. The one is the dependence of policy making. Sentral Bank has no dependence and effected by government very much. This problem has to be solved urgently. This paper briefly discusses a theoretical and practice perspective of ideal monetary policy.
