A 46-year-old woman developed allergic contact dermatitis to distearyl phthalic acid amide excipient following the use of Keluamid shampoo [Kelual DS shampoo].
The woman, with a history of seborrhoeic dermatitis, was prescribed keluamid [dosage not stated]. One day after the use, she developed severe pruritis of the scalp. After 2 days, she again used the shampoo and immediately developed erythema on the forehead and around the nose...
