Abstract

Diversas teorías han apuntado que el ascenso de la derecha nacional populista se debe a los efectos de la crisis económica y la globalización económica, otros apuntan a la inmigración y la globalización cultural. En este artículo sostendremos que ambos elementos se retroalimentan y apuntan a una clave compartida: la nostalgia de un mundo idealizado mejor.

Several theories try to explain the rise of far-right national-populism as a result of the economic crisis while other theories pointed to immigration and cultural globalization. In this article we will show that both theories are intertwined and drive us to a share core: nostalgia of an idealized and better world.
