For scholars who have reaped the benefits of Michelle Brown's scholarship, publication of her magnum opus was much anticipated. This reviewer was iiot disappointed and more than delighted at the breadth and depth of her work. Brown is ambitious in her goals for the book, and she delivers "the goods" with no page left unturned, so to speak.
