Bethesda, MD-The Lockheed Martin Ethics Challenge, an innovative ethics awareness training program featuring characters from the popular comic strip Dilbert, has been updated to include new scenarios designed to prepare employees for ethical challenges in their work places. Lockheed Martin is one of the world's premier systems engineering and technology companies.
Last year the program was so successful it caught the attention of The New York Times, CNN, The Washington Post and even People magazine. But far more important for Lockheed Martin is the impact that the program continues to have on the more than 170,000 people who participated in the challenge. Working with the Office of Ethics and Business Conduct and Lockheed Martin's Ethics Challenge Task Force, cohen/gebler associates of Boston helped create an "upgrade" kit for the Ethics Challenge that includes new cases, new leader and team guides and new collateral material such as posters and wallet cards.
Dilbert and his comic strip colleagues are back for the new Ethics Challenge. Dogbert provides a humorous look at the flipside of business ethics. Balancing the serious message of the Ethics Challenge with humor has become a hallmark of the pro gram. In fact, Dilbert and Dogbert co-starred with the company's Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer Vance Coffman and President/Chief Operating Officer Peter Teets in the 1998 Ethics Challenge Video.
