Peter Drucker's prolific work is always interesting to revisit. Managing the Nonprofit Organization: Principles and Practices is no exception, as managers and organizational development migrate to nonprofit organizations as a diversion from their present position or an activity after retirement that is fulfilling and contributes to the community in which they live. Because there is no "bottom line" and the organizational structure may have some of the business components that seem familiar but defiantly have a different tone to them, the book can be a very valuable tool for understanding what makes nonprofits work effectively.
