Scubaroo's new multi-purpose offshore workboat
Operating as a family-run charter business in Onslow, Western Australia, for the past seven years, Scubaroo Dive's main activities were scuba-diving and fishing, for which it used a 12-metre mono-hulled vessel.
In the last couple of years, Scubaroo has moved into the oil and gas industry, and decided that it needed a more versatile, multi-purpose vessel. The company settled on a design that suited its budget and expected workload from Global Marine Design, based on its Smidt diving jet catamaran built in the UAE.
