Abstract

In this paper water-water heat pump is analyzed using a computer simulation. The simulation program is based upon steady state mathematical models of the refrigeration system components. The numerical simulation based off on mass, momentum and energy conservation is developed. A fully distributed parameter method was used for analyzing the condenser and evaporator. Lumped parameter method was applied to simulate the compressor and expansion device. The Runge-Kutta method is used to solve the differential and algebraic equations. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
