MERKEZİ VEZNE YER SEÇİMİ VE ATM ENVANTER YÖNETİM POLİTİKALARI İLE NAKİT YÖNETİM SİSTEMİ OPTİMİZASYONU

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye İş Bankası Nakit Yönetim Sistemi’nde merkezi vezne yer seçimi ve ATM nakit yönetimi problemleri ele alınmıştır. Nakit yönetim sistemi, ATM, şube ve merkezi veznelerin kasalarında tutulan nakit miktarlarının yönetimini ve merkezi vezneler ile hizmet verdiği ATM ve şubelerin arasındaki para transferini kapsamaktadır. ATM ve şube kasalarında tutulan nakit miktarı, müşteri memnuniyetini etkilemekte, aynı zamanda nakit ikmal operasyonları ile beraber önemli ölçüde maliyet oluşturmaktadır. Nakit yönetim sistemi, iki alt problem içermektedir. Bunlar, veznelerin yer seçimi, ATM ve şubelerin veznelere atanmaları ve ATM’lerin nakit yönetim politikalarının belirlenmesidir. Bu problemler kademeli olarak ele alınmış ve geliştirilen çözüm yöntemleri Doğu Karadeniz Bölümü için uygulanarak sonuçlar tartışılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, kaynak kısıtları altında ilgili maliyetleri ve müşteri memnuniyetini gözeterek nakit yönetim sisteminin iyileştirilmesidir.

In this study, we consider location selection problem for central cash offices and cash management decisions for ATM’s for İş Bank. Cash Management System involves the cash amounts held in ATM’s, branches, central cash offices and cash transfers between central cash offices and ATMs or branches. Cash amount held in ATM’s and branches affects the customer satisfaction and also, together with cash transfers, it costs considerable amount to the bank. Cash management system involves two sub problems. Those are selection of location for central cash offices, assignment of ATM’s and branches to central cash offices, and determining cash management policies for ATM’s. Those problems are discussed in steps, solution approaches are applied for Black Sea Region and results are discussed. The aim of this project is, under resource constraints, the optimization of the cash management system considering the related costs and customer satisfaction.
