In this worthwhile compendium, entries are short - mostly a paragraph - sometimes a dictionary definition. For example, coup de theatre is defined as 1) "A sudden sensational turn in a play, also a sudden dramatic effect or turn of events. 2) A theatrical success." No instances are offered.
