A case series of 3 patients described a 16-years-8-month-old girl and 1 7-year-6 month-boy, who developed withdrawal symptoms in the form of sweating, loss of appetite, irritability, insomnia, tremor or aggression following withdrawal pregabalin. Both the patients had overdose and abuse of pregabalin. The 17-year-6-month boy developed drowsiness and loss of apatite during treatment with risperidone and methylphenidate, respectively [routes not stated; not all dosages stated].
Case 1: The 16-years-8-month-old girl presented to the child and adolescent outpatient clinic with her mother for pregabalin abuse.
