Metodología de selección de IDE para el desarrollo de aplicaciones Android

Resumen: En este artículo se describe el resultado del estudio sobre las herramientas IDE (Entorno de Desarrollo Integrado) que existen actualmente en el mercado tecnológico para el desarrollo de aplicaciones compatibles con el sistema operativo Android. Se realiza un análisis sobre los dispositivos móviles y las herramientas IDE en cuanto a características, componentes y estructura para el desarrollo de aplicaciones móviles en Android. El propósito de esta investigación es establecer una metodología de selección de IDE para el desarrollo de aplicaciones Android mediante un análisis y evaluación de sus características y componentes, con la finalidad que ayude en la fase de desarrollo y mejorar la productividad del programador. Se aplica la metodología de encuesta a expertos la cual se compone de dos elementos la ISO/IEC 9126 y métricas de estadística descriptiva. Se aplica la metodología a través de un formulario diseñado en Google Drive, las herramientas que se evalúan para la selección son Eclipse, NetBeans y Android Studio, los datos obtenidos son procesados y finalmente se determina cual es la mejor opción para el desarrollo de aplicaciones en Android.

Abstract: This article describes the result of having carried out a study on the IDE tools that currently exist in the technological market for the development of applications compatible with the Android operating system. I do analysis of the mobile devices and IDE tools in terms of their characteristics, components and structure for the development of mobile applications on Android. The purpose of this research is to establish a methodology for selecting IDE for the development of Android applications, by analyzing and evaluating its characteristics and components, to verify that it helps to improve the productivity of the programmer. The expert survey methodology is proposed, which is composed of two elements, ISO / IEC 9126 and descriptive statistics metrics. The methodology is applied through a simple form designed in Google Drive, the tools that are evaluated for the selection are Eclipse, NetBeans and Android Studio, the data obtained are processed and finally it is determined which is the best option for the development of applications on Android.
