Niveles de literacidad en tercer grado de una institución educativa de Bello

Abstract

The paper describes the research process carried out at the Hernán Villa Baena Educational Institution (I.E.H.V.B.) in the municipality of Bello-Antioquia, with the aim of analyzing the literacy levels of children in the third grade of this institution. This is a mixed investigation, due to the fact of corpus descriptive treatment (qualitative) and statistics analysis that supported it (quantitative). In order to fulfill the objective proposed to the students, three tests (diagnosis, educational proposal called Con las TIC leo y comprendo and the test of exit) were applied, as well as the participation of mothers and teachers. I did an interview. The results show that the literacy levels of the students improved as of the implementation of the pedagogical proposal, as well as differences between the teachers 'and mothers' perceptions regarding the learning process of reading and writing of the children.

En el artículo se describe el proceso de la investigación realizada en la Institución Educativa Hernán Villa Baena (IEHVB.) en el municipio de Bello, Antioquia, con el objetivo de analizar los niveles de literacidad de los niños y niñas de tercer grado de esta institución. La investigación realizada es de tipo mixta, dado el tratamiento descriptivo del corpus (cualitativo) y el análisis estadístico que lo acompañó (cuantitativo). Para dar cumplimiento al objetivo propuesto a los estudiantes se les aplicaron tres pruebas (diagnóstica, propuesta educativa llamada Con las TIC leo y comprendo y la prueba de salida); de igual manera, se contó con la participación de madres y docentes a quienes se les realizó una entrevista. Los resultados muestran que los niveles de literacidad de los estudiantes mejoraron a partir de la implementación de la propuesta pedagógica, además se hallaron diferencias entre las percepciones que tienen los docentes y las madres en relación al proceso de aprendizaje de lectura y escritura de los niños.
