Abstract
The increased internationalization and interdependence of international markets, especially for the Nordic countries, suggests that a better understanding of management in different countries is needed. Within the Nordic group, there are significant differences in the employee- and task-oriented dimensions, but not in development orientation. Comparing Nordic with Latin-European management behavior, the findings indicate the Nordic management style is more employee oriented, while Latin-European managers seem to emphasize task orientation to a greater extent.
