A 38-year-old man developed various toxicities including somnolence, obstructive airway, ventricular arrhythmias, hyperthermia, seizures and hepatotoxicity following nortriptyline and zolpidem overdose.
The man in an attempt to suicide ingested 25 tablets of nortriptyline 25mg (total of 1375mg) and 10 tablets of zolpidem 10mg (total of 100 mg). Approximately 1.5 hour after he ingested nortriptyline, he presented with somnolence, an obstructive airway,...
