Obituary: Hugo Wolfgang Moser

Abstract

Throughout his long career, Moser's main research focus was on inherited disorders that affect the nervous system in children, particularly ALD. Together with his research team, first at Harvard University and then at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, he identified the biochemical abnormalities in ALD, established diagnostic tests, and set up programmes to assess therapies.
