Nurse and bestselling author
Jennifer Worth, author of the bestselling Call The Midwife trilogy, has died at the age of 75.
Born in Clacton-on-Sea in 1935, she grew up in the Buckinghamshire town of Amersham. After training to be a nurse at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, Jennifer travelled to London to study midwifery. She worked as a nurse, midwife, ward sister and night sister in the capital from 1953...
