Obituary: Richard Joseph Mulvaney

Abstract

A national vaccination programme was to be initiated in the spring of 1954- and Washington DC was going to begin it, Mulvaney recalled earlier this year in an interview with McLean and Great Falls Celebrate Virginia, a group preparing for the state's 400th anniversary in 2007 However, the radio broadcaster Walter Winchell...blasted the vaccination programme. Mulvaney planned to return home to Casper, Wyoming, but rejoined the Army when the Korean War broke out.
