A 24-month-old girl developed respiratory failure, tonicclonic seizure, encephalopathy, QTc prolongation and obtundation following overdose of ondansetron.
The girl presented with respiratory failure, QTc prolongation, obtundation and seizure-like activity. She was found with four opened blister packs of orally disintegrating tablets of ondansetron 8mg (dose 3.56 mg/kg; recommended dose 0.1-0.15 mg/kg).
