Abstract

Haroldo de Campos, by linking Hélio Oiticicas Parangolé to the Japonese Noh theatre play Hagoromo (The Feather Mantle), gave place to a creative process involving poetics, theatric and plastic arts and an intense dialogue between the poet and the artist. Among the questions highlighted in that dialogue is the discussion about Oiticicas 'workantiwork', which Haroldo de Campos has considered to be suprematist because of its lightness and dematerialization. Thus the poet draws a parallel between Oiticicas work and the Noh theatre play Hagoromo. Also important are Oiticicass reflections on 'color' (the white of the nests, parangolés, feather mantle) and 'body' (cape-body, mantle-body), important elements of his artistic creation.
