THE Royal College Disciplinary Committee adjourned proceedings in the case of a Lincolnshire veterinary surgeon facing two charges of alleged disgraceful professional conduct after a two-week hearing from October 18 to 29.
Joseph L. Holmes, a single-handed practitioner at the Waltham Veterinary Clinic, Grimsby, denied both charges, which relate to his treatment of Jake, a cavalier King Charles spaniel belonging to a client, Sandra Marsden, and three Persian cats named Henry, Charlie Brown and Dream Topping belonging to another client, Julie Auckland.
